Superior Service, Innovative Technology

At ForestLeaf Dental of Justin, Dr. Zhang stays at the forefront of the latest advancements in dental technology, making sure you and your family receive dental care that is efficient and comfortable and produces more accurate results. Below, you will find valuable information about the different systems and technologies we use in our Justin dental office.
Digital Dental Impressions

Cold, foul-tasting dental putty was once the only way to retrieve dental impressions. Now, we use the Trios 5 system, which is a more comfortable and mess-free way to deliver custom-made restorations. This digital device scans your teeth and bite pattern to create a 3D image on a chairside monitor that you can easily view. It is then sent to a dental lab for technicians to use when fabricating your dental crown, veneers, dental bridge, or another similar restoration.
CT/Cone Beam Scanner

When digital X-rays are not enough to provide the in-depth imaging we need to prepare for more complex treatment, we turn to our Vatech Green X CT/Cone Beam Scanner. This high-tech device produces a three-dimensional model of your teeth, gums, bite, jawbone, and other intricate details that make it easier for Dr. Zhang and our team to closely examine your head and facial structures and create a more complete and precise treatment plan.
Soft Tissue Laser

Treating gum disease requires careful precision and accuracy if bacteria are to be eliminated. This is why we use our soft tissue laser. Equipped with a concentrated beam of light, the laser can target pockets of diseased tissue, removing any plaque and tartar while leaving all remaining healthy tissues alone. Its ability to sterilize the area during treatment lowers the risk of post-operative infection, and it reduces the chances of bleeding and swelling, ensuring a faster, more comfortable recovery.
Intraoral Camera

There’s no need to guess or wonder about what it is your dentist sees when looking in your mouth. Instead, we can use our intraoral camera to show you. When scanning the inside of your oral cavity, real-time images will appear on a chairside monitor so that your dentist can easily explain what they’re seeing and how they plan to treat it. Better yet, it’s also beneficial as an educational tool that can be used to encourage better oral health and hygiene at home.
